Eden Mill, a whisky and gin distillery based in St Andrews, has marked a significant milestone in its development of a new distillery and visitor centre at the University of St Andrews’ Eden Campus.
akp are excited to be working on this next phase of the project and look forward to sharing updates along the way.
The company is progressing well with the of construction of the £8 million project. The construction project, designed by Glasgow-based architect Opfer Logan, is set to conclude in 2024. It is expected to transform the Eden Mill business, promising a state-of-the-art facility for distilling its contemporary Scottish gins and premium single malt Scotch whiskies.
The project is not only bolstering Scotland’s spirits industry, but it is also expected to create around 40 new jobs, further enhancing the local economy.

The Operations and Commercial teams have been excellent throughout and have been very supportive and proactive in their approach. I would like to especially thank Project Manager John for his efforts over the last couple of weeks, which were difficult at times for reasons out with his control, but he pulled a lot of rabbits out of the hat and got us over the line. Yet again, thank you for all your efforts and hopefully I get the opportunity to work with you all again in the near future.

Probably my favourite project to have worked on! A great professional team, highly knowledgeable and skilled and with a great sense of pride in what they do. I would highly recommend them.

School / WLC were extremely appreciative of how John and team carried out works, excellent lines of communication with school throughout. Also, the site housekeeping, co-ordination, health and safety were all excellent.
